The Countess of Shrewsberry was Bess Hardwicke whose grand daughter Theodora Hardwicke married Jose De Grandisola and had issue one Pedro Almedia who became an Admiral in the Peruvian navy and was present at the battle of Formentosa when the combined forces of Peru and Ecuador routed the Bolivian expeditionary force under Commandant Elisio Granita and secured the annexation of both Puerto de Grande and Isla de los Santos.
Interestingly his grand daughter, Alice Mason (nee Puerto) played the role of Nurse Simons in the original Broadway production of "South Pacific".
None of which comes even close to answering the QI or adjacent to anything relating to truth even using the normal parameters of the Conservative Party.
