fords - number 1 all over heaven Posted Oct 3, 2004
I'm back!
I'm not doing any ACEing tonight because I'm just back from Alton Towers and can't be arsed, but will do some tomorrow

Loup Dargent Posted Oct 3, 2004
I might be able to do a few tonight... but won't be able to do any tomorrow as it's deadline day for and I couldn't do any work on my article today... thanks to my stupid idea of trying to download a new program which pratically disconnected me from the Net... Took me ages to find a solution...
I've got a few errants to run tomorrow as well.. So I can't even be sure if I will manage to beat the deadline...
Not my day[s] really...
Hmmmph!!!
Looking on the bright side, I'm on holidays for two weeks now so I should be able to catch up with some stuff I was supposed to do on here... as well as welcoming newbies, of course...

Hey loup.doughnut, you have mistakes to make "a few errants to run." Does the editor know? http://www.h2g2.com/h2g2/skins/Alabaster/images/Smilies/f_nahnah.gif" />
If it's errands your about, download yourself a copy of: http://www.leechget.net and it should help with future download sessions. Also http:// www.download.com is worth knowing about.

Traveller in Time on his toes
" Apparently you have managed to get 'by' in the newusers list. Just some hundred form the last days .
You need a list of future h2g2 accounts, that way you ACEs will never run behind.
Feature request: list of accounts to be used by H2G2 Researchers in the next days.
(I think this one will be as easy to implement as a list marked with ACEs who posted to the Forum of the new Researcher)"

or at least a concerted effort from ALL ACE's to go and welcome people on a regular basis.

Right....I didn't spend 2 days constantly greeting and doing over 440 welcomes to get the list down to nothing, only to let it creep up again...
....there's over 100 newbies on the list again now.
