Surely things can happen in whatever number you want them to if you look hard enough for them?

I was once waiting for a bus, and 9 of ther same number went the other way. when you're alrady late that's a real kick in the tits.

Just imagine yourself pleasently reading on the sand, vaguely listening to the waves, and being threatened by a monstruous BUS.
I could bite my nose away for fear just with the thought of it.

Sorry there should have been a few "not"s in there between all the musts and jumps.

Of course a bus might be useful for getting up to the mountain or travelling between the beach and other areas like the swimming pool

Not even a large friendly bus with a huge smiley face on the front could console me, for today one NMR has proven that I have wasted a few weeks in my (evil) laboratory trying to synthesise a compound that cannot be made, as I made a mistake somewhere along the line.

*Screams in terror at the mention of NMR as she'd thought she'd seen the last of it in her last chemistry module...*

Such relief! My tongue is now returning to its natural pinkish colour, and normal wetness!

And yes, I did get quite a lot of strange looks!
