This is a problem... I'm thinking of starting a "do you have a problem? Post here!" conversation on the ACEs home page... good idea? to try to encourage people to post to a thread with people in already with their problems so that they get noticed sooner...

Maybe DNA has a pseudonym, like a few of the rest of us do, it'd make it easier for him to do the normal H2G2 stuff and still have everybody know how to cantact him at teh same time.

He may not respond either way, cause can you imagine having 30,000 odd researchers or however many of us use this place regularly all trying to work it out. Someone is bound to guess, lets just hope he has one, and leave him to his incognito wanderings.

True enough. And he does spend a lot of time on-line anyway, so I'm sure he has a look around a lot of it. He just doesn't want to spoil what people are doing by interrupting and having his cult status get in the way.

How many researchers are here regularly anyway? I think 30,000 sounds a lot. When you have a look, have you ever seen more than 60 at one time? This morning there were only 6. What do you think is a good estimate of regular users (aka addicts I suppose!).

I'd say there must be about 200 addicts out there at least for the average usage is between 25 and 40, I've seen it peak at 62, but because of the three main up times Australasia, Europe, and America, I'd say 300 of us are here each and every day at least once. Some are regular weekday or weekend users depending on wheter their access is college or home based. But I may be under/over estimating things a bit.

We could always ask TPTWVH and see what the reply is...

a.) I'm not a power.
and most importantly.
b.) I don't work - especially not very hard.

Yep, it was something to do with them taking offense at being call the Powers That Be. A more friendly title was then come up with
