I can reassure you, if you like, that I am absolutely devoid of any scandinavian blood, and I'm living in Israel (although I do have blue eyes, sorry), and I've never even been to your region of the world, or even to north england. And I could do with some hot chocolate...

BB, I don't know the exact location for the show yet, and Lil said just a little while ago (at the atelier) that it will be tomorrow..

/* Wanders in from forest */
Yikes! that's a big forest. I was lost out there all night, and all I meant to do was take the dog for a short walk. I'm chilled to the bone.
IIEM, a cat lazing in front of the fire, please.
/* sips lazy cat, and wishes for a real fire */

/* Idly traces an amazingly accurate US election prediction in the dust that has settled in the Aroma Café, then wipes it up with a nearby bar cloth. Sips Lazy Cat. Pats Zeppo on the head. */

/* Ties Zeppo's leash to the leg of his chair. Unpacks a rope from his bag and ties himself to the chair, and ties the chair to a supporting column. */
IIEM, a gallon-sized espresso please, and an extra-large bowl of puppy chow.
/* unties himself to fetch the gallon of espresso and the puppy chow that the IIEM has obligingly produced. Ties himself to chair again. */
OK, I think I'm ready for the software upgrade.

*floating in, in haste, surprised to see d'Elaphant and his puppy all tied up*
What? Oh, yeah, the upgrade... hi!
IIEM, a caffe latte - double - to go, please!
I won't be able to visit the café for the next few days, I'm away...
...thanks, IIEM...
..bye!

JAR (happy to be back, but where's Ping?) Posted Nov 8, 2000
*ja-jaingle*
Morn'!
Hmm.. the Upgrade... That'll be a thrill..
Oh, well. I'm most probably alone in the Café now, so I guess I'll just make a long post of ramblings and incoherencies. What do you think Ping?
[Skip if tired ]
Ping: As the mind travels to the deeper parts of Dream, so must the body shed the resonnances of "It".
JAR: So, when you're sleeping, you're body react to your dreams, is that what you are saying?
Ping: No.
JAR: Oh.
Ping: When the mind trancends the Outer Dream, what you call dream, and reaches the deeper parts of Dream, the Dreamer must navigate the Inner World. The body must be prepared for a long time of non-movement as the Mind travels.
JAR: I don't get it.
Ping: As the Great Dream Master Charles Dexter Ward said...
JAR: Charles Dexter Ward? Wasn't he that Lovecraftian Dreamtraveller?
Ping: Yes.
JAR: oh.
Ping: The Good Master Lovecraft wrote not what he imagined, rather what he saw with his inner eye. He was a skilled Dreamer.
JAR: I'm sorry, but this it getting out of hand. What exactly are you trying to say?
Ping: When boy reaches puberty, one must not chastize him for dirtying his sheets while Dreaming.
JAR: Oh.

Morn' One-Eye
I belive it's scheduled to around eleven today. GMT. Says so on the frontpage unless my memory is failing me. Again.
Was it nice to come home early yesterday? Has the Health Department been nice to you?

Dunno 'bout the Health Department yet. They didn't ask me any questions, but one of my colleagues was grilled real good...
They'll send us a report in a few weeks I guess.
And yes, it was very nice to be home early
What about you? How's life treatin' ya?

JAR (happy to be back, but where's Ping?) Posted Nov 8, 2000
Life in general is good... There is one thing, though... Got a letter from Lånekassen (Governement Loaning Institution) stating that I needed a letter from Oslo School of Theatre that vouched for the University I'm about to attend, if I was to get my loan. If I don't get that letter (and who knows what _that_ takes..) I might have to postpone my plans to go to New Zealand! *shudder*
Other than that, everything is going smoothely.
Have you ever experienced falling in love and not really wanting to get to know the girl any better?
Postcard from Irv
One-eye, KoD, gent, MuG, randomly available Posted Nov 8, 2000
Yep...
One on hand, you're falling in love and the natural consequence of that is to get closer to the person. On the other hand, you're enjoying falling in love so much that you don't want to jeopardise that by getting to know this person better. Who knows, you not even like them any more!
Was that a correct description?
BTW, Lånekassen is a b**ch! When I went to school in Sandefjord (which is about 80km from Drammen), I naturally had to move there. I had to pay rent (1900,-) and live for about 2700 Norwegian Crownes a month! That is not much!

Hi guys.
IIEM - coffee, please. White, one sugar.
Love is a myth. It is either lust or (drat, not sure if this is a word) narssisum.

Ah, splendid. Someone who can spell. Must come of being a non-native speaker. Maybe a tad cynical.

I'm alive, and my user page *Just about* is.
I've now been given a Guru badge - but alas, not a Gnu one.
The smileys don't seem to work yet, so, who wants a c)_( of tea?
