*puts down the telephone*
Every ten minutes I get a call from from the little at home.
She is just learning the art of knitting, and I have been assigned as support-phone.
Ever tried to teach someone to knit via telephone? Aaaaargh!

Bumble, as I don't know how to knit, I've never tried teaching someone to do so in any fashion. It could be fun to try teaching someone though...

I don't think I've heard that saying before...
But I must admit I do prefer the old - I don't see why we couldn't have kept them and simply added the new ones. Oh well...

JAR (happy to be back, but where's Ping?) Posted Nov 9, 2000
Just to pick up where you left:
... Oh well, one day we'll be so used to the new ones, that we love them as much as we loved (and still love) the old ones. It's a hard, cold fact of life, but it's easier to love the near than the distant.
Which reminds me. Now is a strange time indeed for my love. Or loves. Both of which are unnapproachable. How does that happen to a poor kid? The one I had long since abondoned (due to her constant refusals to award me a smile for my (1920-ish) lovemaking) suddenly writes me a letter saying that she longs for me and is coming home this weekend! What am I to do? Run? The other one. Well, she I could let go without much ado, but my curiosity tickles me. Ideas anyone?

Find a third one, and stick with her...
Nah, just kidding. If you want advice in the matters of Love, the Female Mind and Everything Else, I'm not the one to ask....

Nah, I think a third one might be good. Someone a complete stranger.
Anywways, thanks for the warm drinks and the company. I'll be off to terrorize some officialø loaning institutions and maybe put a curse on the Norwegian School of Theatre!

Mornin' empty cafè!
This is a bit unfair... T gets her own private, calling-card smiley and all us others get? What?
Nah, just kidding! Enjoy, T

Good mornin' anyone!
IIEM, I'd like a of tea now, if you don't mind. And one for my friend.
Ping: Machine no human. No need to chat.
JAR: What? Do you discriminate against the IIEM, simply because it has circuits where we have flesh?
Ping: No. Machine no talk back.
Key: Complain about this post
