*floating in, carefully avoiding the madly gyrating Tashalls*
Good morning!

*slows down to stagger around a much smaller area than before*
Make sure you don't scrape the dregs of the Turkish coffee here - it's dangerous!
*sits wearily down*
Here is a poem dreamt in afternoon sun nap:
*clears throat*
My tribute to the coming Springtime here by Anon.
Spring has sprung
The grass is ris
I wonder where the birdies is
Some say the bird is one the wing
But that is absurd
For as everyone knows
The wing is on the bird

Hmmm.... I see you said good morning..
1. Is it morning 'round your way?
2. I see little good with mornings. Good morning is an oxymoron.
3. I'd like to become a regular in the café again, & in order to do so properly, I'd like to find out who serves up the magic buzz-juice.
Woohoo, Tashall!
::Busts out a bongo & bonks out a catchy latin rythm::

10 am CET over here...
"Good" morning? Oh yes, the sun is shining! ANY sunny day this rainy summer is GOOOOD!

Hey there yourself "Le-"
*takes out own bongos and jams madly with Le-*
*speaks loudly over sounds of two mellow beats*
Great to meet someone else who does this - we used to live near a bar IRL that had a clientele made up solely of people who brought their bongoes and jammed with whatever beat was going, but sadly I don't live in the area no more
*concentrates on breaking out in a particularly complex syncopated rhythm, then falling back into the beat*
IIEM - Jamaican coffee please

ah, you lucky, lucky person! I wish I had occasion to jam on bongos... But I don't have any of my own. I've bonked & tapped some before, but I'm always too timid to try anything nifty.
*sigh*

The really, really cool thing about this bar was that no matter how green you were, your sounds were drowned out in the general beat, and it all sounded great - reflected glory!
So what happens is you get heaps of practice, and even though you might sound terrible individually, it all gets lost in the jungle rhythm, so you improve without pissing off your neighbours in the process.
*sigh*
To live there again - those happy, happy Monday nights (I was a uni student then, not a time-strapped corporate...)

Bye all, have to go. It's late IRL and I am still at work.
*dances out the door to the sound of the bongo beat*

Thanks!
So is your article on Hovercrafts working out? Couldn't find any info about hovercraft trafficing between Sweden-Denmark... just the katamarans.

My hovercraft article is coming along - you can have a read of it so far at:

I'm just working on the section "After the SRN.4" at the moment.

Ah, it's good to be back here. I've been away from the café too long doing other things
Can I get a Redbeard's Brew please?

Couldn't find anything interesting on hovercrafts in Norway either.
Did you know that there's another Bumblebee on the site? I didn't think that was possible. Isn't there rules against taking other peoples names?

Hello, everyone! BB, am I in time for a fresh cup? It seems like I just miss the fresh brew every time. *lingering audial traces of bongos remind ox of playing guitar and spewing poetry in his early hippie years*
*not to mention the LOST years*

Hi, Bumblebee!
Actually, there are no rules for unique names at this point. They have indicated that they may impose something at some time in the future, but if they do, it would probably mean that it would no longer be as easy to change your name or add stuff to it. If the other Bumblebee is active, you might visit them and work out a solution involving a slight difference for one of you, like something in parenthesis or a symbol with the name for one of them like -Bumblebee- or Bumblebee»
It also can be hard for people to know if they're new whether or not someone else has the name.

Hi Bumblebee! Hi, Redbeard!
I haven't run into another ox yet but I am getting a little weary of running into multi-personalities. Seems to be a control issue.

Yeah, thanks. I probably should go over and talk to her. But not today, I'm to PO.
It's not her fault, I know that, but still.
I will sleep on it.
