jingaling
Hi y'all! *steps up to counter out of ingrained habit, to review securicam*
*eyes widen*
There wasn't a MUTATE button on the IIEM on ~my~ watch! Just as well, too.
IIEM, an A L Special, please. *sniffs suspiciously* This is OK.
Witty M, if you ever find yourself with the cleaning bot in the room, all you have to do is look clean. Clean people are generally not found lying on the floor rolling in sticky substances, and they generally don't get aggressive when approached.
Anybody mind if I put the piano on? *puts the Satie Gymnopedies roll in the piano, then goes to favourite table*

*making a duet of the Gymnopedie, playing the flute*

J'au-æmne Posted Aug 23, 2000
*gives the scrabble board a distinctly ~dark~ look*
Looks like you beat me, Ook.
Ook: Oook!
Yes, but there's no need to gloat!

You almost had him, Joanna!
*enjoys the excellent musical interlude*

*goes to the corner to enjoy the music*
Maybe next time...
*opens the dictionary...*

Lil, the IIEM spontaneously adds buttons to itslef every once in a while. That's part of the problem of running it on an improbability drive...

I don't know. I think the "mutate" button is a classy idea. You know, you get a complainer and poof! he's an easily troddable slug.

Probably eight Joanna - NZ leads the world in time
Long time researchers Ginger The Feisty and Doug Dastardly, who first met on h2g2 about 12 months ago, are getting married at the weekend. The pre-nupital party and a wedding card to sign can be found at http://www.h2g2.com/A421912
Apologies to people who have already read this announcement at Lils. I feel this momentuous occasion deserves forum attendance by as many well-wishers as possible.

7 days in just under half an hour... I wish we'd actually had a summer.

Cheezdanish, Slacker Princess Posted Aug 23, 2000
See, if you want a summer, you need to move to LA. It's summer year 'round, here.
Hey, sorry I'm so hyper today, everybody. It's the residual "mutate" coffee in my system and the desire to hop around in the Savannh and wriggle my nose.
Aroma Cafe: Aroma Cafe
J'au-æmne Posted Aug 23, 2000
someday I may even do that...
*looks at IIEM, but it doesn't seem to have any more buttons atm*

Maybe we can just trade places, Joanna. You can come and live in the sunshine, and I'll go live where my bizzare sense of humour is appriciated.
Ohh, I think I'm getting a headache...
IIEM, a cup of anti-coffee, please. I need to be getting home and sleeping in an hour or so.

Joanna, in Phoenix, there are two and a half seasons: Summer, and Fall/Spring. There is no Winter to speak of. Summer lasts from approximately May until somewhere around October, maybe November.
Here in Flagstaff (where I've moved) Summer appears to be already over. In fact, it kind of looks like what we'd call Spring in Phoenix... but with more rain.
Looney, I'd never mutate you into a slug. Maybe a bird of some sort. Maybe a bottle of kumquat brandy.

Lonnytunes - Winter Is Here Posted Aug 23, 2000
Thanks Irv.
*Loony mutates back into (allegedly) normal shape*
Kumquat brandy - ah, the memories
Psst, Do you think I should stash a bottle in the shack-out-the-back

If you mean the illegal still that the Masque operated on my property, he blew that sky-high himself.
