It stays over 100 for most of the summer in Phoenix, jr, and that's where I spent most of my summer -- in Phoenix!

Knew that's where you were, temp help here let everyone know.
But, you know they say, it's not the temperature but the humidy.
yeah. yeah. I don't buy it either. Anything over 99 is just too dam hot. Went to Big D. Tx. last week and in addition to the temp the air quality index was 'hazardous', too.
Speaking of which, there isn't much to do in Dallas in August if you don't imbibe. The art museum was pretty good (and free-except you can't park downtown w/o paying) and the middle east/east exihibit area is really cold. Thot I'd need a jacket. Went outside to warm up. Didn't take long.
Highlight of visit: saw the grassy knoll (actually, we parked just behind the fence. Other than that, we were just as glad to leave as the natives were to have us leave (less our money, of course). Just a bit of jest there. The natives were by and by a pretty courteous lot (maybe Tx. being a concealed carry state has something to do with that, don't know).
but..
gee, but it's great to be back home,
home is where I wanna beee, boy
(just a giggle from earlier)

I find 105 with no clouds in sight very comfortable. 98 during monsoon season (but with no rain at the moment) is absolutely unbearable!

Talkin' 'bout the weather...
Spring is definitely here (Brisbane, Australia) - as all the usual signifiers erm... signify. Trees in blossom, heaps of colours from magnificent bloom, cloudless sky, distinct temperature rise, feeling groovy etc etc etc.
Was cruising down the road yesterday, windows down, fantastic singalong track blaring on the stereo - thinking how life is good on days like these - spring is just briliant.

...whereas cold and crisp best describes tonight in South Manchester... I had a hot waterbottle a couple of nights ago, first time since January in Manchester....

A man from Xena;and, sometimes hot-to-trot, wonders which of the American States is known as Dorothyland?
IIEM, green tea please.
Sip, splash, crash. Bother.

Well, it's either Kansas (where Dorthy's from) or they were refering to Oz...

Hello folks!
I've been away from the cafe too long. Way too much backlog!
Løøny: Dorothyland is Kansas. As in 'The Wizard of Oz", it's Dorothy's home.
Kona, black please.
