Unfortunately l think Lil has a security camera...no real explaining it away. l better just leave a note telling what happened, apologizing, and offering to fix things up if need be...

Eh. Actually, hate to disappoint, but in RL l'm having my wisdom teeth out tomorrow, and shan't be around much. l'll probably be pretty comatose, actually...
Tell you what, though. l was the one primarily responsible, so l'll take the heat for it. (heh. Heat! Get it?)
Hopefully, in my weakened, convalescent condition, everyone will be nice to me...and l'm certain they'll not blame you, dear. l'll write Lil a note before l go, and leave it on the counter for her to see in the morning.

l'm terribly sorry about any damage which the surrounding Cafe environs may have sustained during last night's..er..escapades. Things got a bit out of hand, and there may be a little fire damage to the forest -- it's very hard to assess such things at night.
l take full responsibility, since the incendieries in question were mine, and apologize for the outcome. l'll be more than willing to replant, clean up and make good any burnt or otherwise harmed areas, and am very, very sorry.

But it was so -coooooool!- You -so- should have been there. l -mean-. Wow.

Hope your teeth are all right. Maybe things will have passed by the time you return. Right?(being way too optimistic, really picturing the time 2 weeks from now when someone looks out the window and says "mmm wish thoses trees were there" and glares at us)
