Go fly a Microlite!
Babel17 Posted May 12, 2000
I still think we would have to wait awhile.
Also we would need to keep Ook entertained in between goes.
It would be a long week

While there are a few of us here, does anybody fancy a game of 'Boule'? I happen to have a set in the 'lite.
It is really easy to play.

She, Mindspring, has agreed to come down. I should have realized: she and Ampton have pair-bonded. Anyway, Ampton is going to wait for her and then take her home.
Irv, Ferrari wants the honor of carrying you to the station when you leave.

Cool! Why don't I ride him home and let my parents haul all my stuff? Or is 200 miles in a day too much for a horse? I suppose it would be...

AA watch where you are walking!
Look out for that protruding tree root!
*Agony Aunt trips over said root and lands on her b*m. Her kite hangs for a second on the wind, then plummets down and lands with a loud crump next to her*
Are you OK? *concerned looks from everybody to where AA is nursing her bruises*

Garius Lupus Posted May 15, 2000
*Wakes up at the sound of a loud crump. Looks around and sees B-17 wringing his hands near a seated AA. Assumes he is asking for help with a problem. Dozes off again.*

*materializes suddenly due to a rift in the fabric of space and time, bends down to inspect kite*
"I can sense a strong feeling of failure and inadequacy here, my flying friend. Entrrrust yourrself into my practice and I will heal you and give you the powers to take rrrevenge upon those who have so crruelly mistreated you!!" (cackles demonically)
*attempts to pick up kite and make off with it*

Babel17 Posted May 17, 2000
Excuse me E, but I believe that this is not, in fact, your kite!
Feel free to employ the instructions previously mentioned above to construct a kite of your very own, thus enabling you to join in the happy time we are having here. As for inadequacy and cruel treatment, neither are present in this situation, just an unforseen set of circumstances. Sit down, have a sandwich. Relax and enjoy the splendour that is the Majik Forrest, for thet is therapy enough!

Hey SD, that's what we are here for, a mine of info, just waiting to be tapped.

E the mad therapist (..wanna TALK about it?!?) Posted May 18, 2000
Oh, allright then. Is it compulsory to build the kite after the instructions? Couldn't I perhaps come up with a psychologically sound device of my own?
And do you think there might be just a small Perfectly Normal Beast sandwich left for me to have?
*grins shyly, pouts*

Go fly a Microlite!
Babel17 Posted May 18, 2000
E, Castle, there is still some food left, help yourselves.
As for Kites, you can design, build and attempt to fly any type of kite you desire, just try to keep it out of the trees, and don't let it get the better of you.
