It is indeed a bit late for Mog's Usual.

Brrr... rather chilly weather in Stockholm today. IIEM, a hot chocolate please! *discreetly adds something from a brown paperbag*

IIEM, a Mog's Usual, please.
Thanks.
*fiddles with and paper bag under the table*
*returns the bag to Ti*

IIE; could I have a Mog's Usual as well, please
**
Should you ever come around, I have a rather amusing picture of Mrs SG V drinking Smithwick's Ale out of a brown paper bag. It's on shown on the picture - but we're sitting in a park 6 m from a sign prohibiting intake of alcohol in the park. Hence the brown bag

IIEM, can I have some coffee with this milk?

Irving Washington Posted Aug 27, 2007
More importantly, does anyone really think you're drinking anything /other/ than alcohol when you drink something from a brown paper bag?

Hati Posted Aug 27, 2007
That sounds like a challenge or at least interesting experiment. I should camp up in front of the police station with a brown paper bag and see what happens. Not in my hometown though.

Just be sure that what you have in the bag *isn't* alcohol. We don't want you really comitting a crime.

*appears at the lower mezzanine entrance, the one that goes back to the washrooms and the tunnel*
Oh, I love to see old traditions vindicated. None of that Starbucks nonsense -- let me have an Asteroid Lil, please!

Irving Washington Posted Aug 28, 2007
I'm pretty sure this is the only coffee house in the world with a lower mezzanine entrance. I may be wrong, though.
*Although he has to check his notes, Irv begins mixing an "Asteroid Lil," a drink that allows Irv to make use of the IIEM's recent creation (for those of you just tuning in, IIEM made me a never ending, constantly chilled the other day). He administers freshly ground drip brewed coffee and sugar, before placing the on a tray with a single Apple Spice Doughnut.*

Irv, I've got no idea what I want. It just needs to be caffeinated, not taste like coffee, and be sugar-free. Be creative!

Irving Washington Posted Aug 28, 2007
I'm not sure whether Oregon Chai is sugar free. I'll have to look into that later. So for tonight, I will serve you Yerba Matté, a traditional South American tea that will keep you up for the next 8 hours. It contains caffeine, but in a form that is known /not/ to make the drinker jittery. It also contains other natural stimulants -- but not anything like Taurine or Ephedra that causes the tightening in the chest I associate with energy drinks. Because you don't want sugar, it will be bitter matté, which (if I remember correctly from my copy of Motorcycle Diares) is the prefered drink of Manly Men in Argentina -- or was in the 1940s and 50s.
Enough talk. Here's your .

By the looks of it it's autumn. Cold, wet, people grumpy. Kids will start a new schoolyear on Saturday.
