No need to worry about rat-ants or conrats, Hati. I brought a sword.

Afgncaap5 Posted Sep 11, 2007
You may. I should point out, though, that the sword can get to the top of the table easier than a rat-ant.

I may just sit here and pretend to be SEP.

It may have gotten lost in the shuffle, but I want everyone to be aware that these are ex-conrats, not conrats, and as such, they're trying to go straight. Please don't persecute them, with sword or otherwise.

Hati Posted Sep 12, 2007
Do you think they may succeed in going straight?

Correction noted about spelling 'rat-ant', Affi.
I hadn't realised that there is a correctional facility on h2g2.

[Mog] [opens his mouth to speak, then shrugs] Nah, that would've been a WAY too easy shot at the moderators ...

I don't know whether the correctional facility is, strictly speaking, on H2G2. I just know that these ex-conrats came to me asking me to help them: a) expunge their records; and b) get away from a cat named Javert.
Something about the Claw, good bad or indifferent....

Afgncaap5 Posted Sep 12, 2007
Well, there was the Andromeda Way Prison, but that's not really a "correctional facility" so much as it is a hopeful garbage dump for lost causes.

[Mog] Hmm ... perhaps you should make your own! ... no, too much danger of them escaping if someone went wrong. Though creating your own set of pocket dimensions in which to seal away various evils would be interesting ...

Irving Washington Posted Sep 12, 2007
I use pocket dimensions to keep my coffee fresh... and to allow my to carry a fresh pot with me at all times. I've still got half a dozen left over from the last shipment I got at the H2G2 space station... haven't been back there in a while. I could let you rent one for relatively cheap.

Dizzy H. Muffin Posted Sep 12, 2007
[Mog] For sealing evil away? No, thank you, "renting" sort of carries the implication of "having to give them back eventually and free whatever's in them" ...

IIEM can I have an anticoffee please? I've got a tension headache building and I need to relax...

Jeez, Mog, I hadn't even thought about the moderators. It ~is~ penance, isn't it.
Can I have an Asteroid Lil please? Another long morning at the post office lies ahead.

As far as renting pocket dimensions, there's no need to give it back, so long as you keep making payments
The Cafe: Irving Returns (after a fashion)
Afgncaap5 Posted Sep 12, 2007
I could create a pocket dimension for you for slightly more than an average rental payment.

Irving Washington Posted Sep 12, 2007
Is it a pocket-sized pocket dimension?
