The Aroma Café: Looking Forward to Spring

Humm - now that does make it tempting - My lastest ambition is to do a parachute jump. For two reasons
1. I wear one when gliding but I'd like to know that I could use it if I had to
2. It would raise money for the air ambulance
3. I just really raelly really want to..
ok the air ambulance is a bit of an excuse, and I'm tempting not to do it for chairty and just pay to do it!

I've just found out that the maximum height/weight ratio for parachuting means that I'd have to get down to 11st 11lbs. I've always refused to be the sort of fat person who lets it stop me doing things - but loosing that amount just to fling myself out of a plane is just ridiculous.

IIEM please, any digestive biscuits?
Hang gliding looks way too flimsy for my liking.
*collects her and steps back in surprise at the sight of the biscuits*
Well I never

I'd have to remove a lot to get down to 11st ll, perhaps a leg? what concerns me is that I do wear a chute whilst gliding! I hope that the reason that it would hurt your ankles to land on them....

Proper ankle and calf support is importent, when hang glideing and parachuteing, as roll tenchiche tend to put pressure on ankles,a little padding round the "bum" tends to soften roll any way.

IIEM, a Roobios tea, please...
Hmmmm... I yikesed a message that someone had left on my user page - but since the subject itself was insulting and has been hidden, I can't find the message again! I wonder if it has turned invisible for the person who made it as well?

.......but I can't sit around for long, things to do and stuff.
IIEM a and glass of h2o please.
There was an article today in my paper about some slimming tablets I bought ages ago, Zotrim. Latest reseach shows that the tablets are effective and safe, so far. They work by slowing down the food passing through the stomach and you feel full sooner. The dieters on the study lost a pound a week just by taking one before their main meal. I think I had better look for the ones in my cupboard.
I shall go and have a shower first though

IIEM, a blue java, please.
It's -1C outdoors. Quite warm compared to -20C last night. I hope the snow won't start to melt as we'll go below zero next week again.

I've had a completely SH**E day and feel bad about standing up for myself.

Mog, the researcher in question did not only post an insulting message on my page, but an identical message on the pages of other researchers - and not only h2g2 ones... ...and I've no idea why - I've never come across this person before as far as I know.
I subscribed to all of those identical insulting postings in case one of those being hit would have trouble handling it - I didn't want to butt in yikesing all of his postings without the other persons knowing what he had posted - but everyone save one seem to have yikesed it, because there's only one left on my list of conversations:

Well, it is certainly disgusting, but it isn't personally insulting, (or am I missing something - I am a bit dim today).
Nasty though, either way.
