Well, I may not have that special "Dan" touch, but I like to think my coffee is up to par. I was trained by the best in my state!

*shuffles out of kitchen in a daze*

What happened to you! I'd say a cup of Organic Rainforest Blend (twice the caffeine!) with a double shot of espresso should do the trick... as for the IV ruining the taste, it all tastes the same after your third cup, anyway...

Hmmm...well, in French "special" means weird. Does your g/f speak French?

This reminds me of Dana Carvey's character "Enid Strict, the Church lady" from SNL. As she used to say when a guest said something of which she did not approve "well isn't that *special*?"

hm... there were a few periods of the "better days". When they had dana carvey and mike myers. When they had eddie murphy. When they had guys like steve martin, bill murray, and (I think) Robin Williams. And I've only seen these through the miracle of reruns, so don't feel left out.

One word responses (as I'm fond of saying) kill conversations. At least written ones...

Agreed.
but hey, I'm used to about 2 litres of coffee a day, and the last cup tastes as good as the first one - as long as it tastes "special" and not "interesting". (How is the dinner, darling? - Interesting....)

Now would probably be a good time to remind everyone to ensure that their browsers are set to accept them.

That reminds me of the kind of joke my dad might make, if he knew what it meant... I still haven't had my own coffee this morning... I can't think coherently.
