The H2G2 Aroma Café: Come and Rest your Mind
Angel Posted Sep 25, 2001
I`m new and i`m thirsty! And will someone please tell me what "the usual" means?

Hi there Angel!
Try asking IIEM (The Infinite Improbability Espresso Machine) it'll make any beverage you ask for, as long as it doesn't contain any alcohol... *points*
...as for 'the usual' I suppose it depends on who's ordering... you might want to get acquainted with the IIEM first to be on the safe side - you never know what that Improbability circuit might cause!

*Hatifnat reappears, sneezing and coughing as usual*
IIEM, a tea please.

Greetings, Angel! "The Usual" is defined on the main Café page, and is too complex for me to remember here.
Other than that, please make yourself feel at home!
Lizzy, if you are Bach, why don't you sit at the piano and play us something?

*Impressed by YP's serving technique, but chooses to serve the rest of the muffins *he* baked in a more traditional manner, passes them out until everyone present has two*
I'm fine, Hatifnat, how are you?

Not too much, I have two days off for Yom Kippur which is extremely nice. and you?

I get Thursday off,(did I just say Thursday? I'd hate to annoy any thingites by saying the word Thursday. Maybe I ought to stop saying Thursday before they rush in here and break my knee caps)
which is also extremely nice.
Besides that, life's been the usual. Music, tests, thesis, essays.
I couldn't help but feel sadly familiar with your concept of having no life during the school year (9 months a year!)...
Ah, well.
, IIEM.

I'm actually glad we're meeting soon. I mean, I was really not in the mood to wait seven months until next summer before we had this meet-up. Although, I'd still like to meet next summer as well...
Hopefully I can convince my parents to let me be driven by strangers to New York to hang out with strangers.
*shrugs*
Convincing them will give me something new to do...
