Hi! The cross † is just some character I found in this font in character map. Feel free to cut and paste it into your name, that's what I've done!
BTW, is anyone here planning to come to the H2G2 Christmas meet in London? There's a link to it from the main page if you haven't heard about it yet. 11th Dec, I think.

Churches
Peregrin Posted Nov 22, 1999
Urmm.....I'm trying to remember... I think it is! It's a while since I'm been to Cheltenham. It's a St. something. Yes, I think that's it.
Oh dear they've taken away the HTML support. D'Oh! Probably my fault for using it so much.

I go to St. Mary's in Cheltenham. I go twice on Sundays to services, two other times a week to choir rehearsals, am confirmed, take communion, kinda want to be a nun (or just a priest) when I grow up, etc etc. Does this make me over-zealous?
PS. I haven't burnt anyone yet either, though I have said i few prayers for the salvation of their souls which they may think of as worse.

Peregrin Posted Nov 22, 1999
I went through a period of wanting to become a monk, but then come to think of it I went through a period of wanting to become a squirrel.
Are any of you planning to go to London for the H2G2 Christmas do? I am, so are Bluebottle and Roasted Amoeba (I live with them. I mean, they are my housemates... nothing dodgy) It looks like being a good laugh.
I used to be in Dean Close School in Cheltenham... which, yes, is a public school... but don't judge me on that, I hate the public school thing even more now I've been to one. I know lots of people in Cheltenham, but one of them is my ex-girlfriend who seems to really hate me so I never go there any more. I bet she's one of you, that would be really ironic.
Hmm. I'm going to eat a Refresher.
That was nice.
Squirrels
Roasted Amoeba Posted Nov 22, 1999
The point about the squirrel thing, Peregrin, is that you did in fact become one. Or had you forgotten that? Or am I not supposed to talk about that here...

I'm a Christian and I'm here. Do I get a prize?
Sorry I didn't find this place earlier... I was about to set up a page called the 'H2G2 Christian Onion' but it looks like I won't have to now. Hoorah!

there are quite a few Christians vaguely wandering about, and I haven't advertised this place at all.... if anyone comes across any, they might like to know.
Onions....mmmmmmm....

Exactly: Onions. I can't think of a better prospect. Can you?

Hi, I just wanted to say I'm a Christian, too. And, yeeep, that's all for right now.
