A Conversation for Christians on H2G2

I would be (mildly) interested in others' thoughts on a wee book of Christian theology

It's a book I've come across a number of times since my university days all those decades ago and I've always found it contains some great profundity. Sadly (I think) I have the feeling that it is dismissed hastily, usually by those who haven't bothered to read the thing. Fortunately, it is available in an online version, so no one has the excuse of it being out of print and hard to find. The book is 'The Gospel of Christian Atheism' by Thomas J. J. Altizer and is available in easily digestible lumps here: http://www.religion-online.org/showbook.asp?title=523

I will repeat myself lest anyone feel like posting a reply too quickly: I have the feeling that it is dismissed hastily, usually by those who haven't bothered to read the thing.
