Can anyone tell me how tags work? I think that's what they're called anyway. The tag's that change what words appear in the referenced entries box. I can't find it.

Excellent entry, Elentari.
Only one point: is it 'Bayeaux' or 'Bayeux'?

Fab entry .
I've been on the tour through the undercrofts, and the strengthening for that tower is indeed impressive!
One thing that may be worth adding is that the Minster is built on top of the ruins of a Roman fort - I've been trying to Google for references, but none have turned up yet. If I remember correctly there's a stream that the Romans laid a course for, which still runs underneath the Minster. But that might be a bit outside the scope of this entry, which is good as it is.

You can't forget the Blue Peter presenter Simon Groom and his blooper!!

Blue Peter was showing the door knockers which were part of the restoration of the Minster.

Thanks all.
Rains: yes, you're quite right, I did the tour and it was definitely mentioned, but the site doesn't say anything about it. I'll mention it in a roundabout way...
Icy: fair point.
Lil: it seems to want me to pay to download realplayer in order to watch that, could you just tell me what happened instead? I can't find it on youtube either.

There's a free version of RealPlayer, but they tend to hide it away. The free version link is on the right hand side of this page: http://uk.real.com/player/?&src=ZG.uk.home.home.hd.def

Elentari,
Blue Peter had been doing a mini series on the renovation of York Minster, showing the paintings on the ceiling etc.
A highlight of the show was to have the new lions head door knockers on the programme.
When the link was finished, the camera turned to Simon Groom, who said:
'Yes, what a magnificent pair of knockers'

Good work
If you're going to include the bit about the knockers, there's A3682352 - Knocking on Doors to link to
The list at the end of the Entry might look better with tags:
