Feel good films...
Richard Cranium {with nothing witty in brackets} Posted Jan 25, 2001
Please don't worry about us Americans. Just put some money behind your ideas and get them in the mass media and we'll believe it! Case in point: Life is Beautiful was released only in an english dubbed version because Americans won't watch sub-titled movies. They butchered Das Boot the same way. If it can't be mass marketed it must be evil.

Or we could open it up again to discuss films?
Feel good films...

Tell you what - let's do both
I may have suggested Chicken Run, but as the film is now being dragged through the courts as to who actually came up with the idea (on which I have no opinion whatsoever, oh nosiree bob, not me, ohhhh no)...

Some guy's trying to sue Aardman for pinching his idea about battery farm chickens trying to escape, Aardman say they can show they thought of the film independently...

Menza Posted Mar 27, 2001
Its always the way when someone thinks they are due some of the royalties.

Hmmm... I still don't like that film, the ending was unrealistic, I mean who ever saw chickens kissing?

*chuckles* Hey, we shouldn't mock the afflicted, in fact, we should sympathise with anyone who gets on the wrong side of Anne Robinson

Tinkerbell *tumbleweed* Posted Mar 27, 2001
*laughs*
I don't think they removed it as an Anne Robinson style attack against the Welsh...
*starts laughing again as she finds the whole idea of moderating Catatonia's song quite amusing*
Hehehe...
Feel good films...
dasilva Posted Mar 27, 2001
I think it should be fully moderated, because of what that sultry, dusky voice of Cerys' does to a young lad of 1/16th Welsh lineage...
...Especially when she mentions characters from a certain famous US sci-fi series
Feel good films...
Menza Posted Mar 28, 2001
*starts feeling that he should really pay more attention to Cerys' song lyrics*
Feel good films...
dasilva Posted Mar 28, 2001
