except for cakes and breads and pastries, where proportions need to be right but even those you can "tell", I just make it up as i go along.

always turns out right, except for white sauce, never got the hang of white sauce, so i do white wine and cream sauce instead - prefer it anyway.

I just live off:
Breakfast - I don't have breakfast.
Lunch - Pasta with cheese on it. And an orange.
Supper - Rice. With chicken, chilli or lentils.
It's a bit boring but I think it's a good staple diet. I haven't died yet, anyway.

I eat fishfingers.

Tonight's dinner

to start we have brussels pate, toast and a side salad OR melon (for the vegetarians)
the main course is a bake of vegetables topped with 3 cheeses
for dessert there are gingersnap bisuits with vanilla or chocolate ice cream (homemade bisuits and ice cream, of course)

I would like to announce to the world that today I have eaten nothing but Refreshers. It's nearly 8pm and I think I'd better cook something...

I once ate nothing but refreshers all day.. I was sick in the night.
Now I've learnt my lesson and eat nothing but fishfingers.

Well all this talk about food is very nice but would anyone like a drink.
