Fantastic navigational tactics for a Viking longboat. Doesn't he know that went out several hundred years ago?

oh i think he knows - did you see his antics in the Big Boat challenge, or 1987 for that matter - i've been an avid cup follower since the first plastic fantastic challenge in 87 and he's been a dirty boy as long as i can remember - god i feel old
hey Haze can i add you to my imaginary friends list? would much appreciate it if that's alright with you

a late addition to the SMS question.
Actors are also statistically smaller than average.
I guess for the same reason, a none physical empowerment.
And what else can small people do as well as big people??

Just to pose a question.
Isn't SMS actually known as the Napoleon Complex?
Local Example
Spanner Posted Nov 3, 1999
could be - i haven't heard of it, but then i'm largely ignorant, especially regarding matters beyond the shores of aotearoa.
i've just watched from afar too many short people make up for their self-perceived (and often self-imposed)inadequacies by massive power trips

Not just power trips, MASSIVE power trips. Know someone that tried to conquer NZ then do you span? 'Bro' the conquerer?
Local Example
Spanner Posted Nov 6, 1999
um well the english? i wonder if hobson et al were a short men
don't mean to offend - it's not your fault, and it's not mine either, but it doesn't make it any easier to live here

Another place where SMS is very apparent is the gym.
Lill' dudes. Hulking muscles.
I suppose anyone who had that sort of shortcoming would try to compensate for it in someway.

Yep, The classic example of little guy, big power trip is called Napolean Syndrome, maybe some one on the web has statistics about this. There is going to be someone sad enough out there to know that Alexander the Great was only 5'2", or something. And Hobson et al were probably very short, as people grow so much taller nowadays. Is this a reason why the age of conquering heroes is over? Tall men are much more sensible?? Besides, what would you count as short. I count any guy smaller than me as short, but I'm 5'10". And some of the best members of my family are Australian. And I'm from Scotland, thats not British!!
Bye for now, Hxx

I spent half an hour poking around for Alexander the Great's actual height before I remembered what SMS sufferers forget. It's not important.

i think one of the reason's we're taller nowadays is better diet. maybe

Beans. That's what it is. Nobody eats broad beans anymore, so there are less fat people. On the other hand, bean sprouts are more popular than ever. So too string beans. I hypothesize that your stature is dictated by the shape of the beans you eat.

Spanner Posted Nov 18, 1999
so if i want to be thin i should eat lots of skinny chocolate bars?

I eat plenty of red kidney beans, so does that mean I'm going to end up kidney-shaped? Am I going to have to spend the rest of my life dodging transplant surgeons?
Well, I guess it beats the hell out of being pear-shaped...
