I never listen to the Premiership - The West Ham joke decision just about sums it up for me - its all about back-handers and old pals - they must be itching to get rid of clubs like Wigan and Sheffield Utd.

One of the strange ironies is that Kevin McCabe, the Chairman and majority shareholder of Sheffield United PLC, is amongst the richest football chairmen in the country. I think he comes fourth after Abramovich, Glazer and that pair who recently bought Liverpool.

The difference being that he's run Sheffield United as a business, not one that's out to make pots of cash for him mind, but as a business none the less. The net result of this is that the Bramall Lane outfit from a financial management point of view is one of the best run clubs in the country and has been for the last five or six years.

Not for us the financial meltdown that relegation would bring as it has to Leeds and will to West Ham

Coventry of course is a privately owned club - but those fans who've got shares would love to know what went on during the Richardson/Robinson era - however all we get is 'confidentiallity agreement' and a club that was in the Premier and owned its own ground suddenly being in Div 1 with no ground and £36M debts.
