(In practice, MC, GreyDesk will do whatever he likes, because it's his competition. I practice the same sort of autonomy in Phantasy Phootball)

No-one's stopping you from running your own football-centric competition.
Hell, we'd all probably come and enter, too.

Not like we've got anything better to do.
Besides, if we scratched GD's predictions, he'd just get a PP pick, and seeing as he awards them himself he'd have carte blanche to award himself just enough points to finish where he'd like.
Or at least that's what I'd do if I were him.

I don't think so, looking at how yesterday's Bristol and Derby wins affected the top 7, the following happened:

Points: (+3) = 127
Demon Drawer
Bristol Rovers 2 Lincoln City 1 Richard Walker –Result, Scoreline, Scorer
Southampton 2 Derby 0 Grzegorz Rasiak – Nil Points
Points: (+4) = 127

GreyDesk

So no B, as it stands you pretty much aren't going to finish third.

Nice one, Chris.

Seeing as GD will most probably be drowning his sorrows, is anyone up to having a look and seeing who won? Oh, and whether or not I beat B...

I've just been doing the maths and if I'm right, the FF title is all going down to the last game - Oldham v. Blackpool, which is still being played!

Ormondroyd Posted May 13, 2007
Honestly, you couldn't make this up. A winner for Blackpool, which I think may also be the winner for Demon Drawer, scored by Wes Hoolahan. Who just happens to be on loan from... DD's beloved Livingston.
But I suppose we really should wait for GreyDesk to confirm everything. And after the events of earlier today, I fear that may take some time.
(Leaves medicinal for GD.)

I make it all square at the top, but I have been known to be wrong in the past.

Ormondroyd Posted May 14, 2007
I thought you'd won by one point - but I've often been wrong before too! Oh well, we'll wait for GreyDesk to deliver the official verdict, when he can bear to think about again!

May 13th, 13 years after they were last relegated from the top flight was surely an omen ridden day for the blades.

Spooky.
BTW, I think you're right about the tied finish. I'd missed my point for Jon Stead's goal in that fateful match at Bramall Lane. We must await the judgement of the Desk.
