Will granny pants ever come back into vogue?
-There is absolutely nothing wrong with granny pants, and everyone, at one point or another has either looked for or purchased them, they're a god send if you've got a complex about your bums and tums. I reckon they're back, they're just making a song and dance about itsmiley - winkeye

What do you think of people whose pants have the days of the week written on them?
- Where did Friday go? there's always one missing and probably a story you'll get in detail to go with it smiley - yuk

What's the best thing you ever seen printed on a pair of pants?
- Best thing I've seen printed on a pair of pants, more pants! There was a pair somewhere with another pair printed on it and I thought taht was a great idea...why I have pants printed on my socks is another questionsmiley - erm

What's the most embarrassing pair of pants you own or have ever owned?
- what other than the "stomach holding in pants very popular with grannies" as Bridget Jones would put it, um, awful, awful baby pink french cut knickers, they were so uncomfortable and ugly, but desperation had taken over... that and there's always the really holey, tatty pairs that you keep around for those special days once a month.smiley - groan

Is there any need for pants?
- Bloody right there is! otherwise there'd be nothing to protect that area from terrifying ways of the trouser zipper! Have you not seen There's Something About Mary?

What's the funniest pair of pants you've ever seen on someone else?
- this guy I knew and had the hugest crush on at school (though in my last year at school I saw a myriad of pants), definately his, he'd dropped something and of course as is the fashion had on baggy trousers, he was wearing boxers with love hearts and kisses all over, through the attempts not to laugh as he asked what was so funny I kept trying to work out, is it sweet & cute, an ex-girlfriends purchase, or his mother at work buying his underwear for himsmiley - laugh he seemed quite proud of them

Thongs versus big pants - you decide!
- Big pants every time, I'm sorry, I know thongs and g-strings are meant to be fashionable and stop uncitely VPL, but they are the most uncomfortable things ever invented, I'd rather than all my teeth pulled than wear one. Ugh, I mean surely the purpose of pants is to cover your bum, not disappear?

Boxer shorts versus Y-fronts - what do you reckon?
- Boxers, Y-fronts, speedo's etc, anything tight round there, smiley - laugh I mean is it any wonder they're always adjusting themselves? PLus aren't boxer meant to be medically better for blokes? Y-fronts just give me the creeps, think it's something to do with swimming lessons at school and very little very skinny boys wandering around, they just can't be taken seriously.

What's the longest you've ever gone without changing your pants?
- Mmm, a day longer than normal if I'm seriously desperate, but I keep a supply of tatty old pants for when I'm that desperate.

Are there any great songs with 'pants' in the lyrics?
- Alanis Morissette - Are You Still Mad
...Are you still mad I wore the pants most of the time?

Blink 182 - What's My Age Again?
...we stated making out and she took off my pants

Barenaked Ladies - Pinch Me
...I just made you say "underwear"

Big pants, definitely. In Canada we call women's panties. Full panty, briefs, cotton, Hanes Her Way - and comfortable. Besides, cotton's better for you. I have the ragged ones with the pulled elastic for when I run out of good ones before wash day.

I have a collection of vintage magazines and patterns, and in one of the old mags is a pattern for French Knickers. They look so elegant in the pictures, but I can't imagine wearing them!

In a Canadian winter you might want long underwear - Long Johns. Then there's another dilema: do you wear panties under your Long Johns? Good question. I do!

don't try french cut knickers, they're seriously uncomfortable...you feel like you need to pull them down all the time, cept if you do that you have to spend the rest of the time pulling them up!

Not to change the subject but...

I wear boxers, and I'm a girl! They're much more comfortable, no creepers, no panty-lines, though they're not exactly conducive to the proper installation of certain feminine hygeine products... keep that in mind, ladies.

Given a choice between thongs and granny pants, I'd pick grannies. My S.O. has expressed a preference for chicks in boxers, but he didn't mind at all the granny pants (though I must admit they *were* the Victoria's Secret version of such). I'm sorry, I'm not obese, but I'm a *real* woman, and having spent what collectively amounts to seven or so years at least to digging out creepers, I'll take proper coverage and comfort every time, and any bloke who has a problem with it wouldn't be worth the time to put them on. smiley - winkeye
