I feel obligated to defend my position, but the appeaser in me tells me to let HPB have the number 2 spot as a gesture of trust and good will. So, shall I be Churchill or Neville Chamberlain? Churchill! No, Chamberlain. No, Churchill. No....I'm so confused!

Dun worry H... 'tis all fair, [HPB] will keep his perch at third. Third's a lot better than 14th, eh?

I didn’t realize that the number beside our names ranked our position in the society.
A little bit of modern pop history, a quote from The Simpsons, the Stone Cutters episode:
Homer – ‘They accept me for who I am, look deep into my soul and assign me a number solely based on the order in which I joined.’
Ebert – (in)famous for the constant misquotations of tale gate stickers.

Ebert, I was just being silly. I don't care where I am on the list - or if I'm on the list. Jodan, put me on the bottom. My self esteem isn't bound to my location on a list.

I just jump at any excuse to quote The Simpsons
And with a flash like a Ebert realized that she needed to watch a little less TV when she found herself more than capable of rambling off a quote from The Simpsons for any situation.

I would be delighted if you could add my name to the distinguished group of researchers gathered herein. (Is that enough groveling or do you need more? )

By the time you reach my age my age you learn history the hard way!
But you can put me down for Scotland, (and every time I go to sleep I wonder if someone will do that, literally )
Wildman - not having a good day.

I'm in. Tho I've been moving away from History and toward Anthropology, I still have enough of it in me to pop out some entries. My best areas are American, Ancient Roman, and Pacific Islands but I know where to get the resources to do anything needed.
