One tiny thing I've not done is included the ingredients for the white After Eights. I will, as soon as I find some of these elusive thins.
I've read this a few times, but am terrible at proof-reading my Entries, I see what I *think* I've put.
As always, comments and suggestions welcome

The entry is fine However I don't think After Eight was the original after dinner mint - in fact I'm sure it wasn't.
Terry's used to do an after dinner mint before After 8 - now repackaged as Twilight, but mints after food have been about a long long time. The original mint - marketed as being an 'after-dinner mint' was the old fellatist friend, Altoids. Back in 1780 I think.
All this from memory from my time as a saleman with wholesale tobbaconists and confectioners, Palmer & Harvey Ltd - back in 1977 - 1980.

Okay Magwitch I'm doing well tonight - I've added a 'so' where it wasn't needed, and omitted a 'not' that was needed, and I've only been on oh, hang on, I did have one glass of earlier hmmmm
Oh go on GB, have just one tiny waffer thin, just like Mr Creosote had

Mckay
everything I read suggested After Eight Chocolate Mints were the original after dinner Chocolate Mint.
I had chocolate mint in the title, but removed the 'Chocolate' do I need to put it back, so as not to be confused with non-chcocolate mints?
I'll check the date of Terry's Twilight

I can't find the date for 'Terry's' the most info I can find is this
http://www.kraftafh.co.uk/Cultures/en-GB/Brands/Terrys/
and there's no mention of mints there.
I could remove 'original' from the title, and add 'advertised as the original' they do that alright

Have changed the title and removed this sentence. "The launch of After Eight in the 1960s was unique in that Rowntree were responsible for creating the whole idea of an 'After Dinner Mint'."

Been searching the shops for the White after Eights, still not found any
GB, do you like Flakes, our next project/Entry is 'Flake the Erotic Chocolate'. For research purposes, I have a box Flake 99 cones in the freezer, (eaten one, three left) and two Flakes (eaten one) in the fridge
Really tough stuff this research

Neat Entry - but on the subject of being first...
Don't Bendicks Bittermints count as after-dinner mints? They first went on sale in 1931, and had Royal Appointment by the time After Eights appeared in the 60s.

I've already removed that After Eights were the original after dinner mints, there's noting left that suggests that is there? to check

Something funny about the title now is without any puncuation, it sounds like an entry about something that happens after eating eight chocolate mints.
