Yes, Arnold. It is on the UK TV as we chat.

In China, it never happened. The state controls the TV, therefore Tianamen Square never happened....

Arn't you glad you live in a democratic society!!!!

Goodnight, gotta get some sleep!

Just been out for a walk, had to stop a few times due to low blood pressure I think , kept getting giddy and when I bent down to pick rabbit food had to be very careful standing up again .smiley - sadface

Lanzababe Sorry but I like your name better that waysmiley - ok I hope when you go back home you will post a few pic's up of what it's like there,
As your neighbours are into bikes in a big way makes me wonder if they or someone in their family were ever competing as it's usually the case, don't forget the TT is on for another ten days yet so if your going home soon you might not see them again.

Morning! Hope your blood pressure is back to normal AGM - it must be a nasty feeling. The same thing happens to my mum and she has to sit down awhile, she says she feels 'limp'.

You're right, I won't see the smiley - bikersmiley - biker neighbours before they come back, but I don't think they are anything other than spectators, but I will remember to ask them when I next have chance.

I'll certainly post some links to photos if you'd like, at the moment the ones I have mostly are of the children - of the 'baby does this' or 'boy does that' sort, or even 'sister in hat' and 'sister in hat again'.Only interesting to blood relations. smiley - biggrin so I'll not bore you with those.

I didn't eat anything before going out and thought that might have been the problem so I ate a cheese and green tomato chutney sandwich, it didn't seem to make any difference as I'm still having trouble when I stand .

On the other hand I always had this problem when younger and was told not to give blood again after collapsing at the donor centre after giving some.

It could be the heat as well, are you on a low sodium diet? Maybe your bodies electrolytes are not in balance. Heat exhaustion can make you feel nauseous and faint. Hope you feel better soon.

STRANGELY STRANGE ( A brain on a spring )

My cat just came running down corridor from other end of flat and I asked her if she was playing or pooing? Her litter Tray is down other end of flat and I wasn't shure whether I her her in litter tray or not.
My cat is clever, and very sweet, and can run REALLY fast on her 3 legs but even she can't talk so didn't answer my question, well she said she didn't answer it as she thought it was just a rhetorical question, lol!
.
The weather is a mix but really do need to go just to go out for a while so might sit in local park for a short while, just to say I have been out.
.
My divided Aspidistra, the one that appeared to be on its last legs, is doing well and new leaves are starting to uncurl so shall see if new leaves are yellow streaked like new leaves before division, which died prematurely. I really hope it does ok as am really fond of the ol' Aspidistra!
If it does ok, I will have 2 large pots and 2 smaller pots with new growth or leaves that were starting to come through before division.

I have been thinking about what you said Prof - (rarely, yes but occasionally I do stop and think smiley - silly)

I wonder whether it's the same people who complain about the weather, being either too hot or too cold? I complain endlessly about cold weather smiley - brrI know - I even bore myself listening to me.smiley - doh But I love it when it's hot, I think I was a lizard in a previous life.

Perhaps these complaining people complain about everything anyway? I've met a few folk like that and they only seem happy when they have something to moan about.smiley - weird

there are arguments for adding/taking the hour and for leaving it alone, but I wonder how many folk in britain know that Canada and many European countries follow our lead and do the same +1 and -1 within days of our time moving

Hi Prof Chaos

Most (maybe all) change times +/-1hr on the same day by international agreement. I thought it was more to help with transportation timetables and the like rather than following British 'lead'.

I'm just a little bit worried about Obachan,
About two weeks ago it was time to start filling the tambo with water so Obachan asked my wife to help her make sure the water gutters (their name) were clear ,The neighbourhood had decided to do this on Sunday morning starting at eight thirty am.
On Sunday morning at eight am Obachan came knocking on the door to tell my wife she didn't need to go there as she had done her bit already and she was complaining because nobody else had started yetsmiley - erm.

Then this morning I was supposed to pick her up at eleven am to get the baby rice plants from the farmers coop, ten twenty she comes knocking on the door she's ready to gosmiley - erm I went to the toilet and made her come in and wait a bit , we then went early to the coop they were still unloading the plants from the containertruck, nothing marked with her name so the poor coop worker got in a bit of a flap but sorted our 36 trays which we took in two loads to the tambo, she usually stands in the field and I hand the trays down to her which is what we did today but she was working much faster today than usual .
I was back home at ten past eleven.smiley - biggrin
