I think possibly, with all deference to Verc, it might work bettter if we retreat to Legion's last post about Arthur and co. Dissappearing to the drain with Frakken.
Some reasons for this.
I think keeping the Goat Herder out of sight is considerably easier than writing the meeting between him, Arthur and co.
We can do a 'fade up' so to speak on Arthur, Sfret and X sitting in the Parisian cafe who can recoutn the meeting in flash back.
The time gap between them dissappearing down the drain and reappearing in France is at least a few days in qwhich time chronologically Mary and the Clan Daltmooreby etc. are already well ahead. we can 'catch up' with them in similar style.
Rather than labour through the process of how they get on board ship/ how Arthur and crew get out of switzerland with the goat herder's etc. We can insert into the mouths of our charcters all the necessary information without necessarily having to *show* it.
Lastly, after all this time I think I like most of you have lost the plot ever so slightly, so I'd prefer a clean start as it were. The Agents lost and confused in Paris and the Clan halfway to their objective. We can start again and the ideas will come a bit easier I feel than trying to drag ourselves kicking and screaming to where we want to be. Besides which I have no idea in what direction to take an uderground sewer enclave stuffed with an obbesse former mdel and two dwarfs....

I was wondering how that would be taken
No problem Clive I can think up weirder and stranger ways to completely confuse the plot if we start afresh anyway

I mean being an Ostrich and everything must make things a bit difficult. Particularly if he was putting in a light bulb.

Mmmm... good point. If an angry ostrich with a bulb in its mouth kicked me I know what I'd do...
