Why Toy Box?

I borrowed this name from the Alan Moore comics Top 10.

Want to know what kind of toys I have in my box? Well, I'll let you guess smiley - nahnah. Why not drop me a message to tell me what you think? Feel free to post below or send me an email to toy dot box at free dot fr.

A few words about me.

Nice Champagne being spilled all around the place.
I'm thirty and born on Patrick's daysmiley - cool, dark blond but I like to have my hair dyed fancy colours. I haven't done it for ages now because I would have to shave my hard-earned beard and I can't be bothered. I am six-foot-five and about twelve stones when carrying my own favourite tortoiseshell smiley - cat. I was born and bred in Reims (49°15' N, 4°02' E), right in the middle of the smiley - bubbly country. After spending a year and a half in Rehovot (31°54' N, 34°49' E) with my beautiful fiancée smiley - loveblush, I had to move again for cooler places: now I'm staying in Bielefeld (52°01' N, 8°31' E), Westphalia. The sad part about it is leaving my other half behind, but rumor has it that she will soon spend a semester in Germany smiley - wow, which is something nice to look forward to.

I finished (at last) a PhD thesis in pure mathematics in December 2004, and had a postdoc position at the Bar Ilan university, near Tel Aviv. Now I am again a postdoc, I will let you guess in which place.

Things I like include, smiley - stout, whisky (I'm the proud owner of plot of land #163972 at Laphroaig distillery), Edinburgh, reading, going to the movies, watching Snooker on TV (although I don't have a TV anymore), playing (and devising levels for) the Apple MacIntosh game Midnight Mansion.

Things I don't like: who cares?

I signed the UNESCO manifesto for peace and non-violence. Why
not have a look and possibly sign it yourself? If you want some more pacific links, click here, or check directly Pheloxi's page.
