Pythons are not the sneaky slinking instant death of the viper. They are quite gregarious, and physically affectionate, unless you happen to be a rodent. The voluptuaries among us are attracted to the sensuous aspect of the python's embrace. The serpents are attracted to mammalian body heat, of course...
