yeah so have I had someone walk that close and not notice me... very strange... especially not seeing me, I'm 6 foot 6 inches

cloaths dont have to be black,
just a colour that with a little creative licencing could be called black,
the inquisition for example are issued with red uniforms...

I have no problem with those colours,
might need to get closer than six inches without being seen sometimes,
but i think thats normaly close enough

I'm six foot one, but wear tall boots. At the time I had long white hair, and was pretty easy to spot in a crowd. I managed to scare the bejeesus out of my flatmates by huffing in the ear of one of them... in broad daylight... on a street corner, not very busy... while they were standing around looking for me... and I crossed about 50 metres of open ground to get to them. Oh, and one of them was a pickpocket - what you would call VERY streetwise. And her boyfriend was a security guard and was used to finding people quickly. (Yes I'm aware that's an interesting story by itself!)
It's incredible what it's possible to do if you manage to do it right.

Coren: JermsG, I was not bragging, I was merely pointing out that my ordinary stealth clothes would suffice. And these clothes I am currently wearing were borrowed from a thief. We traded clothes so he could see whether mine worked for him. I'm hoping like he doesn't get caught. So, you did better than I, and I applaud you. As to height, my, you are tall. I'm about five foot eight inches. Boots that add five inches on to your height? Where might I get boots such as this?

Coren: I realised you weren't bragging... but I was! Your posting reminded me of that time - I didn't think I could pull it off but managed to anyway - and I wanted to show off a little... not trying to belittle your achievements in any way or anything.
I feel the same about my clothes as it seems you do; sometimes black just isn't the best colour to be stealthy in. Some people don't seem to have clicked on to that point just yet, but I'm glad you have!
I hope your thief friend doesn't get caught either... and I feel safe in saying that because he's probably too far away to steal anything from me.

As for boots which add height - I'm not sure where the five inches came from but they certainly had two and a half inch soles... I don't recommend the boots at all because they were far too expensive and only lasted a month of streetwalking, but for your own curiosity they were pit bull brand, ten ups.



PS 'Lightspeed Carpet Fudge' is the best name I've heard in months... fantastic!
