*The Imperials lose a corvette in the onslaught and return fire, their fighters and interceptors swarming out after the fighters dogging the Outlaw Star*

*the fighters break off their run on the Outlaw Star and clash with the Imperial fighters*

*Chronos, in an Imperial mine laying ship, lays lots and lots of space mines*

Don't worry outlaw i've set them only to explode upon organic material, Die vong scum!

Jade: Oh yes... Vong ships are organic. We'd forgotten that, 242.

242: Aye m'm, we 'ad.

Jade: It's missles then, I think.

242: Firing now...

*twenty acid coated missles streak toward the world ship*

*The fighters explode within the mine field, all but one of the acid coated missiles are absorbed by dovin basals, the one that gets through starts to eat through the hull of the world ship in an outlying sector. All ships return fire at Jade, Reefgirl, Chronus, and HDS*

*The imperial ships, manuvering now, are mostly missed by the fire, but a few get some chipped paint and whatnot and promptly return fire as the fighters drop into the atmosphere to strafe the guns up close*

*The World ship continues pumping out wave after wave of multi-megaton plasma and volcano fire*

*Another few small ships explode while the rest of the fleet keeps shooting, mean while, squadrons of bombers carrying siesmic bombs drop into the atmosphere and start a bombing run*

*chronos's mine ship takes many hits to the shield, but continues to launch a thousand cluster mines everywhere*

*The world ship continues pumping out fire but all the skips stay near the world ship and away from the ever growing mine field. The world ship does pump out thousands of grutchins which start to make their way through the mine field and towards the mine layer*

*The Outlaw Star has lost the following: Newton Reactors 1 and 3, 48% hull (total), Radar, Leech missiles, Vulcan Cannon, Partial Artificail Gravity. It attacks the part of the World ship where the acid missile hit.*

I think my dear ally left. Oh well, I'll just muddle through

*The dovin basals, occupied else where, fail to defend against the Outlaw Star's attack, the whatever hits and causes the crater to get bigger and deeper while taking a few dovin basals and plasma cannons out*

*Several destroyers explode, others are damaged. Their backs alight with fire they plunge into the atmosphere on a collision course with the world ship*

[Commander Nez-Pierce] This fleet isn't big enough. Ensign, call FleetComm, tell them we need re-inforcements

[ensign] Aye sir

*the ensign does as told, the imperial fleet pumps out more plasma and now some missiles, firing off towards the world ship and hiding behind the suicidal ships*

*An apparently unnamed Imperial class star destroyer mark II enters the system, transmits a positive friend/foe signal and procedes to dump a wing of death gliders towards the skipers, droppods towards the planet and begins to fire relentlessly into the world ship*

[Commander Nez-Pierce] Glad to see some re-enforcements here

*The guns focas all fire on the crashing ships, but it is too late. 5 destroyers slam into the side of the world ship and explode. The starborad primary tenticle is damaged beyond repair. The missiles and energy that followed the ship continue to damage the already hopelessly damaged sections of ship.*

*Skips fly out to intercept the enemy gliders while the World Ship continues to pump out millions of plasma and volcano shots*

turbo lasers from the unamed ship begin to defend the fleet by shooting the volcano shots into pieces, and launches a counterattack with a full volley of missles.

*The world ship devours the missiles and energy with black holes generated by dovin basals and returns fire with plasma cannons and more volcano shots*

The undentified ship takes several shots, but the shields hold. It redirects fire towards the basals.

*The World Ship intercepts much of the turbolaser fire, what little gets throguh only damages the already damaged tenticle. The world ship returns fire at the unidentified ISD*
