*The World Ship absorbs the anti-matter shots easily but the missiles hit and vaporize a few dovin basals and secondary explosions take out some volcano and plasma cannons. The World Ship shoots thousands of guns at the Outlaw Star and the Asgard*

*The Imperial ships return fire*

Jade: Unit 242.

242: M'm?

Jade: Please consentrate heavy fire on the port shields of the ship classified as "World Ship."

242: With what M'm?

Jade: What do you mean 'with what'? With weapons!

242: With /which/, m'm?

Jade: Surprise me.

242: Ri' aweigh then. *her eyes go glassy for half a moment*

Jade: *inspects black-laqured fingernails*

*The world ship's port side shields are suddenly hit hard with what appear to be tiny needle-sized lances of light, which appear to do little of no damage at all.*

These ought to disrupt your shields quite nicely, as they cause a very neat Hilbert effect. To take place. Hilbert waves tend to disrupt both Gnosis and things in general.

Jade: *looks up at a large plasmatic screen, where a very slightly pixilated image of Nez-Pierce is looking generally occupied with the attack* Commander, I think you'll find that the port shields on the World ship are quite vulnerable at the moment. I suggest you consentrate your fire there for the moment.

*Fires everything the Outlaw Star has at the newly vulnerable World Ship.*

We don't use shields. The bio energy of our hulls protects from radiation and transporters and the dovin basals project micro-singularities (very small black holes) to protect from more directed energies and projectiles

*The dovin basals quickly recover and absorb the fire, hundreds of thousands of multi-megaton cannons fire at the Outlaw Star and Jade's ship*

*A squadron of holo-cloaked bombers drops some rather expesive holo-cloaked thermal bombs (the baradium type) on the prevouisly wounded part of the World Ship while the fleet fires at the ship with its guns*

Well your black holes are still a type of shield. So /there/. And reguardless, you still have to post some sort of effect taken from the shots the Ilmare fired. So yeah. Do it.

Jade: *takes out a nail file, commences filing*

242: M'm? Any further orders?

Jade: Well obviously, put the shields up if they aren't already, and fire a few beam cannons in World Ship's general direction.

242: Ri' then m'm.

242: *eyes go glassy for a moment*

*two beam cannons on either wing of the ship begin glowing and then two rather wide beams of energy flare out and strike World Ship on the Aft side*

*Fires the Outlaw Star's anti-gluon beams at the dovin basals to eliminate the singularities. Most of the World Ship's missiles and stuff misses, but some hit and the ship loses 3% armour.*

*The radiation pulse thingy from Jade's ship makes some of the crew a little dizzy, but they get over it.*

*The bombs droped by the Imperial fleet do little damage except for the few that drop into the hole in the hull, they do some damage, but not much*

*Jade's beams only appear to hit the hull, but they actually only get sucked into point singularities*

*The singularities flicker and dis-appear, but they will be back real soon*

*The World Ship keeps shooting at Jade, Hussassan, and the Imperial Fleet. While a squadron of coral skippers chases after each, shooting at them and manuvering and what not*

*Most of the Imperial Fleet shrugs the damage off with its shields and returns fire, the cloaked bombers return and don't go back out, because they weren't effective enough in their inital attack*

*Anyhoo, lots of shooting at the vong*

*Switches to grappler combat mode which gives the Outlaw Star a pair of enomrous buzzsaws.*
Let's see him deal with this... *Moves in for the kill.*

*The squadron chasing Hussassan breaks into 6 wing pairs and flies at him from 6 different directions, straging with grutchin missiles and volvano and plasma cannons. Mean while several thousand of the world ship's much much larger volcano and plasma cannons keep firing at Hussassan's ship, and at the others.*

*The shots fired by the imperial ships are absorbed by the dovin basals*

*deflects the plasma and volcano shots and returns fire, sending a squadron of intercepters to help the Outlaw Star. Unleashes several devestating broadsides agains the enemy*

Hells that was cheap...

*The Ilmare's Zohar shielding system absorbs the blows from the World Ship and continues returning fire*

*The Outlaw Star flicks throught the sub-ether and most of the World Ship's attacks hit each other, but some hit home and do 7% damage. The Outlaw Star then applies oversized buzzsaws to the base of the Dovin Basal.*

*The dovin basal dies, but right before it does it projects a black hole in the buzz saw arm, damaging it severely.*

*The world ship keeps shooting at Jade, Hussassan, and the imperial fleet*

*The imperial fleet takes a little damage and fires another big broadside at the world ship*

*The left grappler arm drops off and is saved by the right. the Outlaw star returns to normal combat and fires its vulcan cannon at the world ship.

*The fighter prevouisly in the way of the Outlaw Star explodes under the vulcan fire, the rest of the shooting is absorbed by the World Ship's dovin basals and ultra-dense armor. The other 11 fighters, not at all pleased to see their companion die, swarm the Outlaw Star, firing as rapidly as they can*

*Much of the fire from the imperial fleet is blocked by dovin basals, the rest does a little surface damage to the world ship, all guns return fire.*
