The Last-Minute Editorial


I am writing this at positively the last minute, which is a very bad thing to do and something which I advise you, dear reader, to avoid at all costs. Actually, it isn't positively the last minute ... but I digress. I have made procrastination into an art form in my many years at school, so at least if I'm going to do it I'll do it well - yes, you may now breathe a sigh of relief; The Post has not suffered from my last-minute rush this week. Perhaps it would be appropriate, considering that 2006 is still in its infancy, to make a New Year's resolution regarding the ending of this procrastination. But we all know that New Year's resolutions (especially the ones I make) are rarely kept - so I might as well save myself the trouble and just try to get my act together, whether it's the new year or not.

Anyway, the most exciting thing to happen in this issue, I suppose, is that the winner of the Christmas Poetry Contest is announced: check below for all the details and the winning poem. Keep your eyes open for more contests in the future - whether the poetic, the graphic or something else altogether. And... umm... well... if I go on any further I shall become positively incoherent - so enough of me. Enjoy this edition of The Post - and happy New Year from the Post Team!smiley - bubbly
