A Conversation for Radio-alarm Clocks
Snooze Button

It's true - snooze buttons are a disaster. A couple of weeks ago I managed to hit the snooze button on my mobile, set at 6 minute intervals, twenty-four time (!!!)... That's 2 hours and 24 minutes extra 'sleep'. Even missed saying goodbye to my brother, sister-in-law, niece and nephew who were staying over, simply because I couldn't manage to get my lazy self out of bed (well, off the sofa!)!
Snooze Button

I have bypassed the snooze button and learned where the off button is located. I don't have to be anywhere near awake to find this button, even though it is a small button located rather inconveniently past the big, friendly snooze button.
For this reason, I have a clock which allows one to set both the radio and buzzer alarms separately. The buzzer is set to the generous plenty-of-time-to-get-up-and-all time. The radio is set for a half-hour later, tuned to static and turned all the way up...
