I bought my current radio alarm when I was working down in London in 1987, and it still works... with one problem...

The LEDs become less efficient over time, to the point I have to squint to be able to read it at its brightest setting in even moderate light. It's all right at night, but it's impossible to read first thing in the morning. smiley - yikes
