Very good point Moonhogg- though I've always tried to refrain from putting too much thought in to interpreting song lyrics.

This post actually brought back happy memories- 6th Form Geology field trip to the Isle of Wight, studying coastal features and looking for fossils. The most memorable feature was a really nice pub near Ventnor.
