It's the UK equivalent of a redneck. Just with a different clothing sense. Lots of tacky gold jewllery and lycra.

lol true. Though hang on - could of sworn i saw one wearing a burberry corset yesterday at McDonalds! lol. Joke! It's weird but to the chavs around here i am considered really moody depressed and grumpy but i'm actually usually more jolly and possative than the chavs! lol. xxx

you know i'm seriously challanged...or my eyes are anyway.... i thought that said blueberry corset. i didnt notice my mistake untill job said "Any excuse to shred burberry clothing". and then it didnt seem to make sense to me anymore. i think blueberry could possibly be a nice colour.

Burberry is like a type of tartan which is common amongst chavs. I bought a badge saying chav on it on a tartan background today, to be really ironic.

ah. If your referring to the singer then he might well be a goth (Marilyn Manson i mean) but the band is not a goth band just a metal one. I think these "spooky kids" haven't got the idea that goth doesn't mean u have to be a Slipknot, MM ,Murderdolls, etc fan and that you don't always have to wear black to be a goth. I wore a burgundy top yesterday and they had the shock of there lives! They're now convinced i'm a townie cos i own something that isn't black! lol. FUNNY!

Vivaldi can be considered goth as with most if not all Classical stuff. It can go with the styles - elegant, in some cases dark and in some cases romantic and old fashioned see! Not say it's bad but MM and Slipknot's mostly viloent and angry based i thinks! xxx

Neither Mr. Manson or the band can be considered goth in my opinion. It's an insult to all the goth bands out there who base their pieces on slow, rhythmic swaying and dark yet beautiful imagery.

And as for all classical pieces being goth, just look at the allelujia chorus.

lol. Mmmm don't really care too much about Marilyn Manson.Must to my boyfriend's disappointment (gonna tell him soon this ...) i find the whole thing with Marilyn Manson disgusting. There are people at my school (this boy in particular)who thinks Marilyn Manson is a goth and that all goths have to like Marilyn Manson and so seems to be setting out to kill me because i hate Manson. To be honest i petty those who are so into this mainstream "goth" seen he is made cos it means they probably will never know what proper goth bands are. xxx
