Lord Job Boron. That's Lord Job Boron To You! Posted Jun 23, 2006
I could get you some from the internet but it's a UK site and they'd cost a bomb to send over to you. But I would get another 50 odd bat points.

Arisztid Lugosi Posted Jun 23, 2006
Ahh.... But theres never anyone to carry you when you need them is there?
Thanks anyway Job. What are bat points?

Lord Job Boron. That's Lord Job Boron To You! Posted Jun 24, 2006
They entitle me to a free gift with my next order.
goth problems...
Arisztid Lugosi Posted Jun 25, 2006
Ohhhh! Thats pretty neat! Is it a suprise gift? Or do you get to pick it?
goth problems...
Lord Job Boron. That's Lord Job Boron To You! Posted Jun 25, 2006
I pick it depending on how many points I have. Speaking of which, I might need some help choosing. Should I get 100 black roses or a skull which acts as a candle holder...

For younger people such as my self: (not implying that all goths have these problems or you must do this, blah-blah-blah, just some problems I have had)
-Having parents who are pretty much anti-goth (don't understand why you hate the sun and want to stay pale, think your depressed because you stay up all night and sleep all day, think it is satanic, don't accept that you have a dark mind, hate anything close to bondage or anything extreme)
-Relatives that send you ugly, bright clothing and you don't want to offend them by not wearing it but you wouldn't be caught dead in it (kind of a stupid saying for goths lol)
-having parents who hate the music.
- teachers or ppl who always ask if you are okay when you are having a exceptionally happy day.
-having a completely ignorant teacher ask if you are in some cult
-I agree with the pet hair thing! I love animals especially cats as far as pets but if I sit down anywhere or leave anything where they can reach it, it'll be covered in hair.
-I agree with the expensive clothing thing. They say most goths come from middle-class to rich families but that doesn't mean all of us.
-I agree with trying to stay pale (especially when you cannot find a cloak anywhere and your umbrella is broken and it is extremely hot out. Or when your best friend wants to go swimming and invites you, and they lie out in the sun the whole time YUCK!)
-Finger nail polish chipping and having to paint them constantly (I suck at painting my nails but I won't have them any other way!)
-Parents who force you to take off your make-up if its a lil' too heavy cuz (yes my mother accidently said this to me once) "you look like a prostitute(sp?)"
-Ignorant people (not that it bothers me the slightest, I know who I am)
-When ppl don't understand your interest in darker things ( goth- "That
s beautiful" norm-"that's sick and morbid")
-Being inlove with the dark but trying to draw/write poetry in it.
-Parents freaking out if you insist on lying outside at midnight.
Sorry for this being so long, and this barely covered all the problems, but it is alot better than all the problems (well they took the "easier route but I say they got problems) all the clones with no individuality have.

Hello
I agree with alot of those... Especially
-When ppl don't understand your interest in darker things ( goth- "Thats beautiful" norm-"that's sick and morbid")
It was the cause of one of the largest fights I've had with my mom in a long time.
It was soooooooo hot at work today. Sometimes I really hate the sun.

morningstar_13 Posted Jun 28, 2006
i hate the sun. i bought myself spf 50+ sunblock, and my god does it work. i also have problems with the love of the morbid and lack of others understanding.

Arisztid Lugosi Posted Jun 28, 2006
spf 50? I'll have to give that a try. The place a I work has a glass roof.... I just try to stand in the shade

Lord Job Boron. That's Lord Job Boron To You! Posted Jun 30, 2006
-Suffocating in places with glass rooves.
-The cost of sunscreen
-Working
-References to the Matrix.
goth problems...
Arisztid Lugosi Posted Jun 30, 2006
Refrences to the matrix?
I totally agree about the glass rooves.... Where were you that had one?
goth problems...
Lord Job Boron. That's Lord Job Boron To You! Posted Jun 30, 2006
The tube in school and they'd just had it painted so it was unbearable. Fortunately theres nothing down there other than a corridor but still getting from one side to the other was terrible.
Matrix- like wearing a long black coat makes me keanu reeves.

morningstar_13 Posted Jul 4, 2006

goth problems...
Arisztid Lugosi Posted Jul 4, 2006
I had to hand pamphlets out in the sun yesterday... The person I was with didnt understand why I disliked it. They kept telling me I'd get a great tan while I was out there
While I was out there I saw someone wearing a long black coat in the sun.... It must have been awefully hot.
goth problems...
morningstar_13 Posted Jul 4, 2006
oh, how i despise the tanning. i have spent years hiding inside to cultivate this blinding glare
goth problems...
Lord Job Boron. That's Lord Job Boron To You! Posted Jul 4, 2006
Not mad, just fashion concious. And I can normally stand it but only until lunchtime or when I start sweating.
Tanning is a problem though.

Lord Job Boron. That's Lord Job Boron To You! Posted Jul 6, 2006
Still waiting for ours, though we do have purple clouds.
goth problems...
morningstar_13 Posted Jul 7, 2006
now we're just kinda overcast. another problem of gothosity is when people try to connect with you, saying something like 'you're such an individual, you dont care what people think, neither do i.' then you look at their tiffany necklace and expensive tracksuit, raise your eyebrows and get back to ignoring them
Key: Complain about this post
