Under Reoccuring Characters, you should include Bartlet's secretaries; Mrs. Landingham (Kathryn Joosten) who was killed off and her replacement Debbie Fiderer (Lily Tomlin)

Mrs. Delores Landingham was a moral bulwark for Martin Sheen's President Bartlet and whould admonish him for his inability to work the intercom. Her husband Henry is either dead or dies at some point in the show as both their names are on the headstone when Bartlet visits them. Their twin sons were medics and killed in Vietnam. According to Bartlet, "She lost two sons in Vietnam. What would make her want to serve her country is beyond me, but she hasn't missed a day of work in 14 years."

Mrs. Landingham was killed in an auto accident when her new car (the only car she ever bought herself) was struck by a drunk driver.

Fiderer and Bartlet have a rough first meeting where she is the only interviewee who isn't afraid of Bartlet's position and even makes fun of it ("does {the job} come with tights and a cape?"). So far, we know that Fiderer was fired from a previous White House post because she stepped on bureaucratic toes helping Charlie (Dule Hill) get hired as the president's aide. Fiderer's subsequent colorful job history of gambler (though Tomlin had to learn to play poker for the role) and alpaca farmer have been sketched in, along with some evidence of political activism, but her personal life remains a cipher. - http://www.lilytomlin.com/new/westwing/cnnstory.html

I know. The entry is written as a guide to the frst 4 series (the eds removed that bit from the title) and I ddn't want to include any big spoilers for anyone who hasn't seen it.

You could enter them as one character titled "The President's Secretaries" and say something like, "Mrs. Delores Landingham (Kathryn Joosten) and Debbie Fiderer (Lily Tomlin) play the President's secretaries, whose duties include remembering names and phone numbers and acting as a direct often comical foil for Bartlet." So you could include them (as one can often be seen in the background even if she doesn't have speaking lines in that eppisode) and detail their association with the other characters without saying that Landinham died but making it seem that he has two secretaries.
