I do live in the UK...

...it's just I don't really have the time to travel very far to get to a convention!

So we're in the same boat then. I have to work 6 days a week, so there's no way of getting further than Exeter for anything really.

You live in the West Country? You lucky person! It's my favourite part of these god-forsaken islands... the only place I like better is the Austrian Alps...

I have the misfortune to live in the Thames Valley. smiley - sadface

I do indeed live in the backwaters of North Devon. It's very pretty but useless for any sort of entertainment or shopping. I used to live in Guildford, so unlike most people down here, I actually appreciate the place. It's nice to be able to breathe the air for once.

Hey, I'm totally disillusioned!smiley - doh I thought the Minister of Idiocysmiley - silly would at least have offices in Washington DCsmiley - bubbly and a High Prieast of anything at allsmiley - zen must dwell in a cavesmiley - tea in the Himalayas! Great conversation though and I like the idea of Terry viewing his characters from different perspectives. Best recent character, though it's just for the name and description, is Jeremy Clockson from Thief of Time who really tried to be interesting. Can we deduce from this that Our Tel don't like flash motors?? Oh, and I'm from Kent, no longer a garden, more like a giant patio!

I got "The Truth" at the Tesco checkout! Slightly cheaper and a day earlier than the due publication date. I don't know if the date was an error but I noticed the price held smiley - winkeye This may have been at the discretion of the local or regional manager tho.

I also noted it in WH Smiths' at a reduced price when other, older books were on the shelves at the standard (jacket) price.

Our local librarian can be very helpful (Hi Ruraidh)
