And you couldn't understand the words at all

We love making up this daft poetry

But the way into the bards club said 'No Entry'

(I'm assuming that was a beginning to a new limerick & not a statement?)

We needed a gimmick
if not another limireck

An undertaker from Kingston-on-Hull

had the task of embalming a Bull

It started off well

'till it started to swell

And floated off at the fyun'rull



not on form today, better stop bothering.... so this is my last offering for now:




A piece of adhesive tape

came loose from Superman's cape,
he dropped like a brick.....

landing on a stick

He should have used superglue on his nape

new line, new line, new line

Or an old one would do just fine

I know, TRIQUACK, but we could wait forever, so let's capitalise!

As long as it scans

even old also rans
would be better than that one of mine



(mind numbing memory loss pill required please)


The new Bishop was heard to remark

He liked singing hymns in the dark
