Well, they ARE declared dead by bystanders, who take one look at them, put a finger against their jugular vein (or thereabouts) for half a second and then shake their heads sadly, declaring the victim dead.

Need I even mention first-aid in the movies?

Jessie, queen of the strange - Nirvana rocks my socks!

KimotoCat: The Matrix was originally written in three parts. The sequels weren't just an afterthought, they were present when the Whatever Brothers wrote the script.

I see. But then it is a shame that they were not PART of the first movie. I guess I'll just have to wait and see, now won't I?

Yeah. Wait and see...

I personally think that if the next two have the same amount of content as the first movie, a film encompassing all three would have to be at least 6 hours long. And you thought Lord of the Rings was long...

All three LotR-movies are somewhat LONGER than that.

Oops the Destroyer - not actually evil just very clumsy

Hitting someone on the back of the head once with the handle of a gun will immediately knock them unconcious for the exact amount of time it takes to search their office/apartment/hotel room.

In the NYPD all uniformed officers have Irish names, all plain clothed officers have Italian names.

The Hero and Heroine when caught in a heavy rainstorm will both be completely dry 30 seconds after getting inside, the Heroines hair and make up will still look perfect.

A bad guy persued by police will always head for the roof, despite the fact that this offers the least chance of escape.

A killer, when confronted with the evidence of his guilt by a detective will always break down and confess, explaining his motive and any particularly baffling loose ends in the story before being catred off to jail.
