and what's a ghoolie when it's at home?

There's two things referred to as ghoolies, the first is a Ghoul, the second hangs between a gentleman's legs.

I can't even begin to think of any ethymology here...

It comes from Hindi.

I'm thinking of having that entry heavily rewritten in any case. It now appears to be an urban myth that Baden-Powell wrote that song. I wasn't the only one fooled, though.
