Someone's already cloned SimCity 3000 to work in a web browser:

It seems they're having mega issues with this latest release of Sim-City. Not the sort of game I like but seems they are popular judging by the hassles with server loads.

I hate this trend of making games no longer 'stand-alone' type and forcing you to having to be online in order to play them. Worse, making you download and sign-up to sites you have absolutely no interest in just so they can push yet more adverts for rubbish games.

The new Tomb Raider has several 'multiplayer' achievements. I hate Xbox multiplayer as general rule, you tend to die just as your screen loads up because everyone else is a higher rank/level than you (even on release date) and they've just to kill the nube . Not finished the actual game yet, mind.

I'm a massive fan of SimCity, or rather I was.
This one has so many problems, I'm not interested.

In a rare moment, I'm actually making my arguments in philosophy in too few words - I made one argument in about 50 words - I don't happen to have a dozen arguments on hand
I'm actually going to have to hope the objections take up a lot more space

Right, brew day tomorrow. Will try and think of the recipe overnight.

Ah good, refreshments. I will have a lemsip. And those spring rolls.
Philosophy is very soothing. It's like maths with words. Or so I always thought.

philosophy is indeed maths with words!
Only two subjects based off reason...though it really irks the mathmos when we claim to be the same as them

Has spent 50 minutes attempting to understand two small pages of Bernard Williams' philosophical text

What a day... I suppose the ACEs have noticed that we have had much more traffic than usual? I can't say how much, but all the tweeting, facebook sharing and g+-ing has really made a difference.

A colleague at work was having a good old click around the doodle today. Then we looked at h2g2. And then we looked for pictures of robots. Teaching is such fun.

Anyone want an enourmous stack of pancakes? I've been at it since 5am. Maslenitsa (Russian Orthodox Pancake WEEK, yes really) doesn't fry itself you know.
I even have that cream you squirt out of a can...
