They got similar things for the Olympics If you don't get killed by the missiles taking off on your house, you get killed by the thing they was shooting at.
Ya can't make it up
I can remember Newton nr Nottingham; where you are told if the missiles move, hit the deck. Actually I saw one move and I because if it goes off it ain't like a blood* firework.
Bunches of idiots. cor

6 September 1982 the Danish frigate "Peder Skram" accidentally fired a Harpoon missile. 34 kilometres later it hit a few trees and smashed four summer cottages to smithereens. Some 130 other cotagges were damaged also, but could be repaired. No persons were hurt. US company McDonnell Douglas was forced to pay for all damages

They're only as dangerous as the people on the rest of the planet. Humans are the most dangerous game.....

I grant you that. The annual Darwin Awards have featured *many* people of such astounding stupidity that they managed to remove themselves from the human gene pool. My favorite was the guy who drove his brand new four-wheel drive vehicle onto the ice so he could go ice fishing. The ice was very thick, so the guy tried using dynamite to break a hole in it. When the dynamite went off, the brand new car sank to the bottom of the lake. The fish probably laughed their heads off....

Safe, but in shock. They were probably sleeping, and the loud noise probably got on their nerves.

I live in a Polish dominated community, used to be english though. A Polish circus complete with animals has just parked itself across the road.

Got a letter without a stamp on it yesterday claiming to be from the Landlord; ordering me to open all windows and leave my doors unlocked

AARG Mateys- Time for a celebration- this be me birthday
Today I'm 65
And here I am you see—close to my P.O.B.
I have stood in Antarctica, and watched the snow fall there.
I have withstood triple digit heat,
Heard the grass crunch neath my feet.
I've slept beneath a pure dark sky
Observed the heart of our galaxy pass by.
I strove to do, I strove to win.
I had my share of victory and defeat.
The world changed and so did I
Watching the years fly by.
I managed to stay alive,
And with God's help retain my drive.
Am I really 65???
I came to help and partake
More than just a birthday cake.
I came to know, I came to learn
God's grace you cannot earn
For you, for me
God's grace is free
it's free.
