I like gentle and awesome, Pierce. If they fly all the time, I don't see how they tread. Plus, I'm fine with putting my feet *before* they come along.

They will have to rest from time to time and having one standing on your foot is probably less than comfortable

Since they are so gentle, I imagine that they will be courteous enough to let me move away before they land.
I'm sure they are beautiful, though. I can be forgiven for wanting to get close enough to admire them. Do they eat peanuts and bananas, or they look for gigantic flowers to sip nectar from?

It would take all three to give the butterphant enough calories. Those wings have to work awfully hard to keep the body airborne.
