I got that impression when I went to a production of "A Little Night Music," which has scenes that are set in Northern Sweden.

Try this one:
smiley - musicalnote Oh, come, Mister tally man, tally me banana
Me say, come, Mister tally man, tally me banana smiley - musicalnote

Of course we have bananas. The dinos have been dormant for long enough to have few fresh banana harvests. How much bananas would you like?

Banana earworms? smiley - evilgrin

Here's a third one: In the trailers for the upcoming movie "Despicable me II" [as if the original wasn't despicable enough], there are four yellow minions who sing "ba-na-na, ba-na-na-na" to the song of the Beach Boys' "Barbara Ann."

Enjoy your new earworm. smiley - evilgrin

Are you sure they weren't banana shallots?

www.bbcgoodfood.com/content/knowhow/glossary/shallot/Cached - Similar

"Banana shallots are the largest variety and are named for their size. They have a smooth, tan-coloured skin and are slightly milder than other types."

Cherry tomatoes taste like tomatoes and not like cherries.
Beefsteak tomatoes taste like tomatoes, too. smiley - tongueout
I ate a champagne mango once. I didn't think think it tasted like champagne.
Genuine Mammoth Pumpkins probably don't taste like mammoths.
Blue lake beans don't taste like blue lakes.

Plus you probably won't be able to find beef steaks inside the beef steak mine W.C. Fields came by in one of his films smiley - biggrin

Not even if his paper read "Beef Steak Mine strikes bonanza!"
