I'm not sure where I would get them. They haven't shown up at my local supermarket. Not that I care one way or the other.

Shallots are very tasty. I'm sure the bigger ones are tasty, too.

I'm assured they taste differently like other shallots and nothing like bananas

Cherry tomatoes taste like tomatoes and not like cherries.
Beefsteak tomatoes taste like tomatoes, too.
I ate a champagne mango once. I didn't think think it tasted like champagne.
Genuine Mammoth Pumpkins probably don't taste like mammoths.
Blue lake beans don't taste like blue lakes.

Plus you probably won't be able to find beef steaks inside the beef steak mine W.C. Fields came by in one of his films
