Next week....
I still have most of the weekend left..
I suppose so but my weekend is already fully booked up. I have spent all morning tidying the flat.
Tomorrow I am moving the last of my stuff and more tidying

Don't know if I can.. I am getting a lift home off Andy so it depends on when he leaves.

Horror poem will commence soon but first this important work....
Head f****d and I don't know why,
just want to lie down and cry!
For screaming the words what do I do?
When all I am doing is tearing in two?
Is there an answer that I know,
is there some help where I can go?
Will drink and drugs ease the way?
Will it help with what I have to say?
So I feel I want to go away,
leave this s**t for another day,
But instead I have to try,
and dig truth from a lie,
and present the world with a view,
that it can be seen renewed.
Thank you and the mad doctor will continue soon.....

Fires of Damnation
----------------------
The fire burning bright,
In all consuming light,
It sweeps all before,
Driven to death for all,
Feeding the fire needing,
Grow not slow,
Ash it's past.
The tall flickering flame,
Nothing will be the same,
As it leaps from house to tree,
Who will be there to rescue me?
Feeding the fire needing,
Choking its smoking,
Burn beyond return.
Nothing survives striking spark,
not even the little lark,
As the fire whips itself on,
all that is left is gone.

Lady Pennywhistle - Back with a vengeance! [for a certain, limited value of Vengeance; actual amounts of Vengeance may vary] Posted Nov 19, 2004
Hmmm, not bad... anything specific that triggered this?
(Got something for you in my drawer by the way - you should have the key. It's the one right at the end)

(????)
nope nothing 'sparked' this off at all so to speak.... Just well lighting a cigarete and looking at the lighter flame I thought I had not done a poem on fire for a while...

The kiss
-----------
Pointed teeth flashing,
vampire smiling,
red eyes hypnotic,
he begins to drink the blood.
Kissing, biting, drinking,
the victim moaning,
red eyes laughing,
he begins to drain his fill.
Pointed teeth finishing,
the last beat fading,
reds eyes satisfied,
his teeth vanish from view.

(Sorry for confusing you - I'll explain on the 'congratulations' thread... )
The new poem's cool - reminds me of a painting by Edvard Munch... two of them actually, The Kiss and The Vampire (now I wonder why's that? ). I'll see if I can find them online for you.
